The original series debuted in September 2003 and was billed as one of TV’s first faux reality series. ![]() The male-leaning cable network has ordered 10 episodes of the series, featuring Lorenzo Lamas among a cast of “reality show clichés.” Spike TV is reviving faux reality series Joe Schmo, setting a first-quarter 2013 premiere for Joe Schmo: The Full Bounty. VH1 dropped the series just weeks before its September bow after Johnson was arrested on domestic abuse charges. The renewal comes a day the network pulled the plug on unscripted entry Ev and Ocho, featuring now former NFL All-Pro Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson and his wife, Evelyn Lozada. Season 2 averaged 1.6 million viewers with the third season set to launch early next year.
